Rob Christie is a 35-year-old firefighter in the Yukon Territory, north of his native British Columbia. Christie played football in his younger days, including two years as the center at Butte College near Oroville in 2001 and 2002. That doesn't mean much to most fans, except for this: Aaron Rodgers was Butte's quarterback in '02. So when Rodgers wears his Butte T-shirt to a high-profile news conference, as he occasionally does, one firefighter in the hinterlands of Canada bursts with pride.
