Syracuse, N.Y. — On Monday night of next week the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame will add six new members to its prestigious roll call, each so very much meriting the honor. Alphabetically, those inductees will be Teresa Cleland, Phil Gordon, Mike Hart, Billy Jones, Gerhard Schwedes and one of our very own from the media world — Bob Snyder. Now, all are so very deserving. You can't win as many golf titles as did Cleland, coach as many high-school basketball victories as did Gordon, gain as many yards (in high school, college and the pros) as did Hart, create as much sneakered havoc in the old Parochial League as did Jones and help Syracuse University to its only national...
